Adult Weekly Art Workshop: Contemporary Landscapes Term 1 2025

The focus in Term 1 is contemporary landscape painting or any landscape style that inspires you. Participants can take inspiration from other artists and work on creating a colourful landscape using drawing and acrylic painting techniques on watercolour paper and/or canvas. Students will learn about painting texture, colour mixing and much more. It is recommended that students choose an artistic style to be the starting point of their inspiration. Some examples are Katie Wyatt, Susan Trudinger, Ron Brown, Fred Williams. By observing techniques in their own set skills and techniques to create their own style. If this exploration does not stir your artistic senses, students can opt to pursue a Personal Painting Project of their own, with artistic guidance. 

This course involves 5 consecutive workshops in your choice of class time. Please see the class time and dates below.
