Barbie's Blooms

Barbie's Blooms was created with acrylic paint and paint pens on canvas (2024) 30 x 40 cm.

This image is from a colour collection inspired by the patterns, colours, repetition and blooms that float with flourishes of colour on the canvas. The collection captures spontaneity of brush and sponge application, scumbling of paint, and markings with paint pens. The vibrant colours used in Barbie’s Blooms are to evoke a mood, and energy and movement captured in time.
