The Exploring Watercolours Experience

Immerse yourself in a day of creativity, mindfulness, and self-discovery through the inspiring practice of Exploring Watercolour.

This nurturing workshop invites you to slow down, quieten the mind, and reconnect with your inner creative voice through watercolour experimentation and expressive art-making. Whether you are an experienced artist or complete beginner, this enriching experience offers a welcoming space to explore, reflect, and create.

Throughout the day, you will be introduced to a wide range of watercolour techniques using a diverse range of mixed-media techniques, including:

• Acrylic Free Flow painting
• Cling wrap, salt, wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry,...
• Paint pens, watercolour pencils, crayons and marker
• Experimental mark-making and much more.

Participants will explore the creative elements of colour, line, pattern, texture, and composition while applying the techniques to their own creative art pieces.

Guided by artist and educator Anna Maria, you will learn how to draw upon these artistic skills and apply them to future art projects.  

This workshop is designed to nourish both creativity and wellbeing, offering an opportunity to relax, recharge, and reconnect with yourself in a supportive and inspiring environment.

No prior art experience is necessary—just a willingness to explore, create, and be present.
